Projects are time-bound activities—organization-wide or chapter-specific—that require approval of the PD team, undergoing a process of proposal submission and evaluation based on set criteria.
Many of our members come up with great ideas to start new activities to promote leadership development—whether of our members or at large. However, not all these ideas can be taken up because of feasibility constraints. All new project ideas are submitted to the Projects Development team who evaluate the ideas on pre-established criteria, such as originality, feasibility, impact and sustainability. The selected project proposals may be further honed by the PD team and taken up as FLP projects.
While Core Activities are on-going, organization-wide and replicated across chapters, FLP projects are time-bound activities. Their duration could be as short as a week or may be as long as a year. These can be organization-wide or chapter-specific.
